About Us

We started as a one man band, determined to make change. Read about how our founder, Hiren, refused to give up on the UK's declining educational health and how far he has come, using our four founding principles as guidance to success.

Our Story

Welcome to Koyani Education, a venture that was born not just out of ambition, but out of genuine concern for the challenges faced by students on their educational journey.

Our story starts  in 2011, when Hiren embarked on a path that would shape the essence of Koyani Education as we know it today.

In those early years, Hiren’s passion for teaching was evident as he dedicated himself to sharing his knowledge of Maths and Science. Teaching, however, wasn’t always a lucrative pursuit (and is still the case today)! To make ends meet, he decided to tutor as a side hustle, driven to evolve his teaching with the additional experience.

Over time, Hiren fine-tuned his craft and his dedication led him overseas to enrich his teaching experiences further and gain insights into diverse cultures. For a while we wondered if we might have lost him to these distant lands.

However, with renewed purpose, Hiren returned to his roots, determined to confront the UK’s education crisis head-on. Koyani Education was reborn, its mission clear: to be a steadfast pillar of support for students, parents and schools alike, dedicated to delivering the finest Physics and Science education possible.

As our journey progressed, so did our reach. We expanded our offerings to encompass all the Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science - subjects that often pose their own set of challenges.

As our commitment to education deepened, we recognised the pressing need to address the shortage of skilled physics teachers. The struggle was real, and schools found themselves grappling with the challenge of ensuring quality education in the face of this shortage. In response, Koyani Education took a proactive step forward by offering Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and INSET (In-Service Education and Training) programs to schools. Our team of experienced educators works closely with schools, preparing their teaching staff to confidently teach physics even if it isn't their primary area of expertise. We firmly believe that every student deserves access to a high-quality education, regardless of the subject, and our CPD and INSET initiatives aim to bridge the gap, empowering schools to nurture well-rounded educators. Through these programs, we share not only our knowledge but also our passion for effective teaching, ensuring that educators are equipped with the tools to inspire and educate the next generation.

We understand the struggles that everyday students face because we’ve lived them. We’ve walked in your shoes, and it’s the personal connection that drives us to go the extra mile.

Join us as we continue to write the chapters of our story, forging a path of excellence in education, one student at a time.

Our Principles

QUALITY

We're (VERY) Qualified

How would you like to be taught by an Oxford graduate, with a UK teaching qualification, with 13 years experience in the classroom and is also a board certified examiner?

Hard to say no, isn't it?

FLEXIBILITY

For When Life Gets Hectic

Forgot about that parent's evening, or was football practice switched to a different day?

That's OK, our cancellation policy is pretty lenient. Give us as much notice as possible and we'll do what we can to reschedule without you losing that lesson.

AFFORDABILITY

Who Doesn't Like A Good Deal?

We know that tutoring can start to add up, so our package rates are designed to keep costs down.

We also have a loyalty program to get those discounts rolling in and a refer-a-friend program to help you earn while you learn.

INCLUSIVITY

Where NO ONE Is Left Behind

Every student's journey is unique so we're all about tailored support. Our teaching styles are adapted to ensure your learning experience fits you like a glove.

Inclusivity isn't just a buzzword - it's our commitment to helping you shine.
